All in for a deposit refund at the SAQ!

We do our part every week by putting our glass bottles in the recycling.

But did you know that most of these bottles end up in landfills? And by including them in Quebec’s selective collection system, they contaminate other materials that could have been recycled.

Moderation is good for our health. A deposit refund system at the SAQ would be good for the health of our planet.

Which is why we’re asking Premier François Legault to take the necessary measures to exclude glass containers, plastic containers and cans from Quebec’s selective recycling program and to encourage people to return their bottles through a deposit refund system, starting right away with the bottles sold at the SAQ.
